Why does a liver report ask about sugar?
Liver fat and the way your body handles sugar tend to move together, which is why a doctor looking at one often asks for the other. Those markers are not inside the Liver Panel — HbA1c is ₹550 and Fasting Insulin is ₹760, added when your doctor wants them.

What do I do after the report?
Food
Ghar ka khana, tuned for the liver — less deep-fried and less refined atta and maida through the week, sweet drinks and packaged juice swapped for water or nimbu pani, and protein at every meal so dinner does not run large.
Movement
A ten-minute walk after your two biggest meals, plus about 150 minutes across the week. Two slow strength sessions a week matter more here than people expect — muscle is where sugar goes.
Habits
Alcohol is the single biggest variable in these numbers, so be honest with your doctor about it. Keep one sleep window, and repeat the same tests at 90 days so you are comparing like with like, not two different labs.

For the liver enzymes themselves, no. The Liver Panel includes a Lipid Profile, which is usually drawn after 8–10 hours without food, so a morning slot is simplest. Water is fine through the fast, and so is your regular medicine unless your doctor says otherwise.
